Outlook add-in install

This is the dedicated Outlook add-in host. Use this page to download the Outlook manifest and install it through Outlook on the web. The Aspire dashboard URL is not the add-in host.

The first sync to your local Outlook app can take a few minutes after the manifest is added in Outlook on the web.

  1. Click Download Outlook Manifest.
  2. In Outlook, open File -> Manage Add-ins. Outlook opens the add-ins page in Outlook on the web.
  3. In Outlook on the web, open My add-ins -> Add a custom add-in -> Add from file.
  4. Select the downloaded XML manifest file. Outlook installs the manifest, not a DLL.
  5. If the add-in does not appear immediately in your local Outlook app, wait a few minutes, then reopen Outlook.
  6. Open an email message, then open Aspire AI from the message ribbon.

For Outlook on the web or New Outlook, you can start directly from Get Add-ins and use the same My add-ins custom add-in upload flow.
